Tony began his average adjusting career in 1967, at William Richards & Son (subsequently renamed Richards, Hogg International), in London, England and in 1975 transferred with them to Montreal. In 1985, Tony and his colleague Neil Dennis left Richards, Hogg International and opened a Montreal marine office for Finnamore & Partners Ltd., a general adjusting company. Tony and Neil had qualified by examination as members of the Association of Average Adjusters of Canada (now The Association of Average Adjusters of the United States and Canada) in 1983 and 1984 respectively. In 1994, Tony and Neil formed their own company of Average Adjusters-Braden Marine Inc.

Tony is the current Chairman of the Association of Average Adjusters of the United States and Canada (2017-2019), he was past President of the Association Mondiale de Dispacheurs (2011-2013) and past Chairman of the Association of Average Adjusters of Canada (1999-2000). He is a full member of The Association of Average Adjusters of the United States and Canada and is an overseas subscribing member of the Association of Average Adjusters of the United Kingdom. Tony is a member of the Canadian Board of Marine Underwriters, Canadian Institute of Marine Engineering and the Canadian Maritime Law Association, and has served on several committees within these organizations. |
