Prior to joining Braden Marine Inc. in 2001, Greg had extensive experience with a major Canadian Shipowner operating on the Great Lakes and East Coast, working in Operations and Marketing. During this time he was involved in contract management, operations, the sale and purchase of vessels etc. He was also Secretary to the Board of Directors of the parent and various subsidiary companies involved in ship repairs, chandlery and eventually, became President and owner of one of these repair companies.

Following the sale of the fleet in 1988, Greg worked as a consultant to a major Canadian bank managing the winding down of affairs of the shipping company' operations. He also assumed the management of all that company's seafarer's workers' compensation claims on behalf of a P&I Association. Since then, he has added the workers' compensation claims for five other fleets which he continues to manage to date.
Greg qualified, by examination, as a full member of the Association of Average Adjusters of Canada in 2007 (now the Association of Average Adjusters of the United States and Canada). He is a member of the Association Mondiale de Dispacheurs (formerly the International Association of European Adjusters) and an overseas subscribing member of the Association of Average Adjusters of the United Kingdom. Working at Braden Marine since 2001, he has experience in the handling of marine claims for hull & machinery, general average, builders’ risk and ship repairers’ liability and related marine risks.
